Humira Approved by FDA for Treatment of Plaque Psoriasis
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Abbott Laboratories’ drug Humira for treatment of moderate to severe cases of psoriasis in adults. Humira, initially approved for use in treating rheumatoid arthritis, was approved last year for treating Crohn’s disease and psoriasitic arthritis. For more on the story, go to the Chicago Sun-Times.
