Synvista Therapeutics and Novel Therapeutic Technologies will work together to create a topical cream formulation of ALT-2074 for the treatment of psoriasis. ALT-2074 is a leading compounds under development for use in cardiovascular disease. The companies believe that the new cream may be a promising treatment for plaque psoriasis. It varies from drug to drug, depending on factors such as the amount of testing that they believe is necessary to how long the Food and Drug Administration takes to review the end product. Since this may not quite be the highest priority, probably on the order of 6 months after the company believes it’s ready.
