Psoriasis Phototherapy

Phototherapy is the process of treating Psoriasis with ultraviolet (UV) light.  Ultraviolet A, or UVA, is usually not sufficient to treat Psoriasis.  Typically UVB is used in order to treat the symptoms of Psoriasis.  Phototherapy is usually conducted in a doctor’s or dermatologist’s office, and is a very structured and disciplined process under strict supervision in order to gain the desired results.
